All I can say is WOW! What a disgusting system that's been devised by the money grubbers of ticketmaster, the Detroit Lions and Stubhub, etc.

So the Lions announce that regular season single tickets go on sale today at 10 a.m. Why do they announce this? They know full well that when I, and countless others log on at 10:00 sharp, that not a single ticket will be available. Of course they conviently offer me a search on TicketExchange, for a ticket that is double face value!

Unknown to me is that they gave season ticket holders a pre sale on MNF tickets. Really? Their seats aren't enough, let's reward them with the ability to buy the stadium out and legally scalp them to the rest of the fan base?

I was a season ticket holder with this outfit for almost 10 seasons. I never saw a perk like this, and honestly would never have taken advantage of it. I used to sell seats to members of this very forum for face value, in the name of fan brotherhood.

Of course there are brokers all over Ebay selling tickets that God only knows how they were acquired. Season tickets should be sold to individuals or independent businesses only.

I'm thoroughly disgusted with the business practices of this franchise, and the agents with which they conduct their business.

I didn't go to a game in two years after canceling my season tickets but a group of us decided to go to opening day this year. I bought the tickets last week on stubhub.com for less then face value because I knew once the single game tickets were gone the price would shoot up. Even with all of the BS fees they charge you I still paid less then what I would have paid through the Lions ticket office.

The word I got from a guy my brother in law knows that has season tickets, is that season ticket holders were allowed to buy 8 tickets for every 1 season ticket for this MNF game. Are you kidding me? 8??????

The front office will be getting a piece of my mind on this one, I can assure you.
