The Lions signed Joique Bell off waivers from New Orleans -- he was waived without ever carrying the ball for the Saints! He is 5'11', 220 lbs and runs a 4.68 forty. Won the Harlon Hill trophy when he played for Wayne State. Bell is thrilled to be playing in Detroit -- being from BH, he grew up a Lions fan.

Aaron Brown was waived to clear roster space. It really doesn't look like he will ever stick! The staff can't be very impressed with him.........

Coming from New Orleans, Bell could be a "loaner" to give the Lions a chance to rest Kevin (and his knee) for the Green Bay game and/or a chance to get their head inside the Saints game planning. Seems to be a consistent pattern for Lions acquisitions this year!

Look for #35, hopefully he'll be the one standing in the end zone -- with the ball!

It took me a long time to get like this and I ain't changin' now!

Actually they singed him off the Saints Practice Squad. Good move, he played some for Buffalo and was the saints leading ballcarrier in the preseason.
