How to get to Ford Field
1. From southwest
Detroit, Downriver suburbs, Toledo:
To avoid the massive
construction project on northbound I-75, between the Rouge River Bridge
and Goddard, motorists should take I-75 to the Telegraph connector, then
to eastbound I-94 to eastbound I-96 and then back to I-75. Take I-75 to
the Grand River exit (exit 50). Proceed on the I-75 service drive across
Grand River and continue east to Woodward and turn right.
2. From Ann Arbor,
Dearborn, Inkster, Wayne and western suburbs:
Take east I-94 to east
I-96. Exit on north I-75 (Fisher Freeway). Exit at Grand River Avenue
(Exit 50), proceed on the I-75 service drive across Grand River, and
continue east to Woodward. Turn right on Woodward, and head toward Ford
Field.
3. From Lansing,
northern Wayne and western Oakland County suburbs:
From Lansing or Novi
area, take I-96 east toward downtown Detroit to north I-75 (Fisher
Freeway). Exit at Grand River Avenue (Exit 50), and proceed on the I-75
service drive across Grand River and continue east to Woodward. Turn right
and proceed to Ford Field.
4. From Oakland County
and central or northwestern Detroit:
Take the Lodge Freeway
south to the Grand River exit. Turn left on Grand River, cross I-75 and
take the service drive to Woodward. Turn right on Woodward and head toward
Ford Field.
5. From Pontiac, Troy,
Northern Detroit suburbs:
Take I-75 south to the
Mack Avenue exit. Turn right on Mack and proceed to Woodward. Turn left on
Woodward and follow to Comerica Park, which is located next to Ford Field.
Alternate routes: Take I-75 south to I-375 to Lafayette, take Lafayette to
Brush north to Ford Field; Take I-75 south to the westbound Davison, take
the Davison to southbound Lodge, exit at Grand River and turn left and
cross I-75, take the Grand River service drive to Woodward, turn right and
proceed to Ford Field.
6. From Macomb County
and northeastern suburbs:
Take I-94 west to the
Lodge Freeway south to the Grand River exit. Turn left on Grand River,
cross I-75 and take the service drive to Woodward. Turn right on Woodward
and head toward Ford Field.
